Abandoned

San Zhi, Taiwan 

This futuristic pod city was originally built as a luxury vacation spot for the rich in Northern Taiwan. It was never finished being built. Production was stopped after many mysterious fatal accidents occurred during construction. Between lack of money and lack of willingness to complete the project, the pod city was never completed. Rumor is that the place was haunted by the ghosts of the workers that have died. Unfortunately the alien like structures were demolished in 2010 and there is going to be a water park built in their place.
